The Center for Equity in
Early Childhood Education (CEECE)
Every child deserves to be in environments where they feel loved, welcomed, respected, visible, supported and to have opportunities for joyful engagement. Trusting respectful relationships create the foundation to support the learning, unlearning, healing and transformative change that improves racial equity and intersectional justice.
“Freedom dreaming is imagining worlds that are just, representing people’s full humanity, centering people left on the edges, thriving in solidarity with folk from different identities who have struggled together for justice, and knowing that dreams are just around the corner with the might of people power.” —Bettina Love

We're excited to announce the upcoming launch of CEECE on Thursday, February 6th and we need your participation and support to make it a success! Please join our celebratory launch event. You'll hear more about CEECE's mission, guiding principles and our work with community partners at the Community Hub in Oakland. Your generous donations of any amount will increase CEECE's opportunities to deliver initiatives where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that respects their identity and potential. Your generous donations help us create early learning spaces that are not only welcoming and inclusive but also rooted in anti-racist principles and humanizing practices.
Here’s how your participation and financial support further the mission of CEECE:
Building Inclusive Curricula: Your partnership and monetary donations help us develop and implement anti-racist, culturally responsive curricula that celebrate diverse backgrounds, promote equity, belonging and encourage empathy and respect.
Teacher Training and Building a Community of Equitable Education for All: Contributions provide educators with the necessary training to create safe, affirming, and promotes diverse learning materials and culturally competent classrooms, where every child can see themselves reflected in their learning and feel valued for who they are.
Engaging Families Equitably: Donations also fund programs that support and engage families, building a community of care and providing the tools parents need to advocate for their children’s education.
Creating Safe, Welcoming Equitable Spaces: With your help, we can enhance emotional and physical spaces where ALL children can explore, learn, and grow in a safe, respectful environment.
Every dollar you contribute helps create a world where all children—no matter their background—can thrive and achieve their fullest potential. Together, we can build a more just and compassionate future.
Thank you for your support in creating a better world for every child and for being a part of CEECE's re-launch journey with us!
